I found  something quite interesting about BANANAS! In the journal Food Chemistry and Toxicology  ( interesting name, eh? ) in the 9/8/12 volume, there was an article stating that bananas protect against UV-B light induced skin damage and so protect against the loss of skin elasticity. Who knew that besides finer and carbs there was such goodness? This goes along with the astaxanthin and pycnogenol supplements which I recommend for skin health too. You are what you eat and your skin, your largest organ, shows it!
